Remember this from last year??? I may regret saying this but I am looking forward to snow again. Now that most of the decorating is done,..(of course it is never really done. I am still rearanging things all the time) and "most" of the gifts are bought, I am ready to warm up some wassil and relax and watch it snow. >

Once again life has become so busy I haven't taken the time to blog. So here is just a few of the things we have been busy with...Starting with the most important thing that happened, On Sept. 25, my 20 year old son,Chase, was in a horrible motorcycle accident. He was the passenger on the back of a bullet bike and his friend that was driving passed away in the accident. Chase suffered head trauma and a very badly broken elbow. He was lifeflighted to Utah Valley Hospital and had surgery on both. He was in the trauma unit for a while.
He is now doing quite well. His body is healing and we just got the results of his most recent MRI wich shows that everything with his brain is OK!
I am not reporting everything on here but I just wanted to put a little update for all of my blogger friends!
We have been SOOOO BLESSED! And even with all of the trials, we count our blessings every day that Chase is still with us and he is going to be OK!

Sorry, I know this is hard to look at but this is what Chases poor head looked like after his surgery. Chases arm after they took the cast off. His elbow now has pins, a screw and wires in it.
On a lighter note, Branson and Bridger with their friend Kolton enjoyed some fun at the Monster Truck.

Branson finally became a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He is loving it!!!
Grandma Bliss is still making us smile! Love her in this picture!
Well that is just a quick update.
We are getting excited now for the holidays! Can't wait to decorate.
This year is extra special because we have so much to be thankful for!

~Towel Cake~

My son Garrett is getting married!!! Yay we are so excited!
He has been dating Kaylee for over FIVE years.
Kaylee is such a sweet girl we could not be any happier!
Saturday I had a bridal shower for Kaylee. It turned out great.
I didn't take pictures at the shower and I really wish I would have. (Too busy trying to be a good hostess I guess)But I did snap two pictures the night before the shower of the towel cake that I made for the table decoration. It did look cuter the day of the shower with brown, green and blue balloons on each side of the cake tied to the cake plates which held the shower favors.
The towel cake was really fun to make!
The bottom layer is 4 bath size towels, the middle layer is 4 hand size towels and the top layer is 4 wash cloths. There is a wooden dowel in the middle for stubility.
Then I just decorated it with ribbon, flowers, and a ceramic letter G (for Garrett) and K (for Kaylee)all in bright green, brown and bright blue,(their wedding colors) and all bought at Hobby Lobby!
I hope you like it and if you ever make a towel cake I would love to see how it turns out!

~Boys~

One of the things I LOVE about boys is the phases they go through!
My cute little Bridger has been going through a Military phase for a while now. He has been wearing camo uniforms every day. This is Bridger in one of the uniforms.
Bridger is very Military minded and watches a Lot of Army shows. He even won a contest at school for writing an essay on being patriotic!
Bridger (with his dads help) built a pinewood derby car and guess what it was,....Of course, a camouflage tank!

When he is not in full uniform, Bridger makes sure his T-shirt still has a military theme.
Here he is on the bus with his best friend Tegan, going on a field trip. Notice Bridger is wearing an Air Force shirt and of course he had to wear the hat.
I love that Bridger is feeling so patriotic and wants to show his support to our troops.
Branson right now is just being a typical 12 year old. He is loving playing baseball and loves being a pitcher for his team. Branson is into BMX bikes and loves to go to the Extreme Air-Sport place to jump on trampolines and do tricks.

I realize I am the mom but I really think these are two of the cutest and most unique 10 and 12 year old boys around!
I love these guys and me and Kent are so happy we have them! Their older brothers, Dustin, Garrett and Chase all think they are pretty special too!
So thank you Branson and Bridger for making life so fun and interesting and keep being you because you are both Awesome!!!

Yummy Yummy Cake Balls!
Sunday was such a great day, it was my birthday and also our anniversary!
30 Years!!! I can hardly believe it! I made these cake balls for the first time and they turned out soooo good!
(Thanks Kellie for the recipe) so easy and fun to make.
My Sweetheart Kent took me out for a nice romantic dinner on Friday. "After 30 years he still melts my butter lol"
I've said it before,...you have got to love a man that is fine with having 13 pillows on the bed lol.

~Time To Update~

So you know it is really time to update the blog when your brother-in-law tells you it's time.
So here is a quick update on what has been going on at Our Little Acorn Cottage,...I know this will shock some of you but I have been sticking to my plans of working on some home-made items for this up-coming Christmas.
With the weather being so gloomy I thought it would be a good time to make some things before the sun comes out and we all start spending our time outside.
I can't tell you everything I have been working on,(because some of you will be recipient's of some of these gifts) but I can let you know I have pieced together 5 quilt tops!!!
I wanted to make each of my boys a quilt this year and I now have the tops done and ready to tie!
The reason I can tell you about them is, my boys know that I am making them all a quilt they just don't know what they are going to look like.
Doing all of these sewing projects has required much fabric store shopping! Yay, one of my favorite things to do because you know I can't go to the fabric stores alone therefore my sweet Mom and Sister have to go with and that always means going out to lunch and so on and so on...(it's rough lol)
Any who, the other thing that takes my time of course is my Sweety, my boys, housework, cooking,
and also my pets, (by the way, me and Baxter are not doing so well on our diet)and then there is my church calling. So you see, with all of these things, it just hasn't left a lot of time for blogging.
I am definately feeling more and more like Snow White (Thank Heavens for the Dwarfs and my Prince Charming!) I love them all and my busy life!
I will try to make more time for blogging because I really do love it and I wouldn't want to dissapoint my Bro-in-law again."hehehe"
I love looking at all of your blogs and hope to have something more interesting on mine soon. Until then, take care, keep blogging, and I'll see you soon.

~Pillow for Christmas~

Just wanted to share a picture of a pillow I made for my Mother-In-Law for Christmas. It was a fun and easy project.

I am hoping to make a lot of home made items for Christmas this year. The sad thing about that is,...I should probably get started NOW! As slow as I am it will take me all year but I LOVE home-made things and when you put something you made with someones gift, it really means a lot,....anyway, I think it does.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I am so excited for 2011!
Like everyone I have made many New Years Resolutions like,....get more organized, get on a better schedule so I will be using my time better, save money, complete some home improvement projects that I have been wanting to do, cook healthier meals, spend more time with the family just having fun, and so on and so on, the list never ends.
There is one resolution that I have made for myself and also for Baxter.
To Loose a few pounds!
Poor Baxter, he has really been enjoying all of the yummy holiday food just like his owner,(me) and it has taken it's toll on both of us.
So wish us luck as we begin the new year with plans to get a little healthier.
I will keep you posted on how we are doing. (I will let you know how Baxter is doing for sure.)We want to wish you all a Very Happy and Healthy New Year and I Hope All of Your Hopes and Dreams for 2011 Come True!!!

I'm Still Here!

Yes, I really am still here. I have been staying so busy that I haven't taken the time to update my blog so today I thought I would put this picture of a darling winter quilt that we saw at a quilt show for you to enjoy and let you all know that I have all of my trees up and decorated and I think we are almost ready for the big day!
I still need to do some more deep cleaning, wrap a few more gifts and have a full day of baking!!!
I will take some pictures of my trees soon and put them on my blog.

~Buffet~ Before and After~

Do you remember the old buffet I posted about?
Well, I finally finished it! This is the before picture;...And this is after!
I am very happy with how it turned out.
I love the way it looks in my entry way.
Now that it is finished and I see how it looks I'm thinking that I might add some more of the stain to antique it a little more and make it a little darker around the appliques.
I know there are some that think it is awful to paint wood but I am happy to report that this buffet was mostly veneer and the one part that is a nice piece of wood is the top and I did stain and polyed it. I personally love the look of painted furniture but I also understand those that love the wood look.

I had a lot of fun doing this project I am happy with how it turned out and I am happy to check this one off the list.
The bad thing is,...now every time I look at a piece of furnitur in my house I picture how it would look painted. Oooo, I just added several more projects to the list! I better go find my paint brush. hehehe

~Nativity Pillows...Check!~

My Basket full of little Nativity Pillows!
I am so excited to check off another project from my "Unfinished Projects List"
Today I finished these little pillows.
There are 12 pillows in this set.
The reason I went with this color scheme for the pillows is because I am planning on displaying them at Christmas time in the room that I like to decorate in golds, cream, and white. So instead of the traditional red and green, I went with these colors. I have made these same pillows in the more traditional Christmas colors and I gave them away as a gift. They are darling done in reds and greens.
Not everyones taste but I think they will look great with my other decorations at Christmas time.
Well, now I need to get serious about my next project. THE BUFFET...
I have started sanding it and I can tell this is going to take a while. I'm not as comfortable working on wood as I am with fabric but if it turns out the way I am hoping, it is going to be Fabulous!

Back To School

Bridger and Branson headed back to school this week.
Summer went by so fast this year, I was a little sad to send them back to school.
Bridger, (my non-smiler in photo's) is in the 4th grade this year and Branson is in the 6th grade.
With the boys in school now, I am hoping to get some more projects done and checked off the list. I finished a sewing project this morning but I am not going to post pictures of it because it is a Christmas gift for someone and I don't want her peeking at her gift.
Can I just say ...YAY! one Christmas gift done!!!
I did take a picture and will post sometime after Christmas.
Now, I think I am ready to head out to the garage and tackle painting the buffet.
I will take before and after pic's.

YAY, I can check two more off the list!

YAY! I just finished two more projects on my "Unfinished Projects List!"
I still have several more to go but I am happy to have these two baby quilts done.
I gave one to my sister-in-law for her new baby, Kellee.
She is such a cute baby and only weighed just over 5 lbs. when she was born.
The other quilt will be stored away until I need another baby girl gift someday.
I know now that I really must be turning into my mother, she always makes more than she needs whenever she makes anything, you know, just in case:)Well, onto the next project. No time for blogging right now but I will be back soon!

~Garden Party~

We had such a fun Garden Party the other night.
Good Company...This is Blanca, Grandma Bliss(My Mom) and Ruth(Ruth is the one that provided the beautiful yard for the party)

We were all suppose to wear a hat.....
These are a few of the cute hat's that were worn.
There was lot's of Yummy food made with produce from our gardens.
Everyone enjoyed the food, sooo good!
Liz Laney,(aka Martha Stewart) made Lavender Punch, it was amazing!
The tables were so cute

The Garden Party was in Ruths yard and it is a beautiful and manicured yard. Ruth works very hard keeping her yard so beautiful and it was so kind of her to let us all spend some time there and enjoy the beauty of it.

Well, that is a few photos of our fun Garden Party! I hope we can do this again soon. Thanks everyone that helped to make it such a fun evening and thank you Ruth for sharing your yard with us and inspiring me to get out and work in my yard.

Do you remember when I shared this picture with you a few months ago?
I had found it at a yard sale and loved it.
The picture is old and tattered but I love it! Well, thanks to one of my wonderful blog friends,(Marilyn from Somewhere In My Time) she informed me that there was a partner to my picture. A little girl with a cat and it is called,"Chums"
Well, I had to have it. After searching, I found one!!!
The picture is old and seems to be a little sun faded but I love it
I now have them both hanging in my bedroom. I don't know why some things appeal to me, I'm sure not everyone would get this much joy out of two old tattered and faded pictures but I Love them!
Hope you all find what appeals to you and it makes you as happy as these have made me.

This year the Quilt Show Volunteer's and their families had a fun evening of water slide and yummy food as a thank you for all of their hard work putting on such a great Quilt Show.

Yeah! one sewing project finished!
This is a pillow that I started making a long time ago and never finished it until recently.
Since my older boys have moved out of the house, I now have a room for my sewing/computer/home office/and scrapbooking.
Oh ya, it is a small room but I am making it work and having ton's of fun doing it.
As I have been going through all of my stuff I have realized just how many unfinished projects I have so my goal now is to finish these things before starting new projects.
This pillow was the first on the list.
I hope to continue on and get the other projects done soon.

Updating

Since my email was hacked recently I have been away from blogging.
What an aweful feeling to not have any controll over your email. I am truly sorry for any of you that recieved emails from the hackers pretending to be me.
I'm happy to say that I now feel secure with my new email and I also have an updated security on my computer. I'm feeling much safer.
It has been so long since my last post and I do have some summer activities to post about and also new decorating and sewing projects to post about but for now I am back-tracking and posting some older things that I missed while being away from the computer.

I have been away from blog-land for a while and today I thought I would quickly do a ramdon post of some of the things that I have been up too lately.
I went with Bridgers class to the Planetarium;

Back down to Earth, we had a nice picnic lunch at Liberty Park.

Took Branson to the Doctor.
Not as much fun as Bridger's trip to the Planetarium but I think it took as long!

Had a fun night out at the Relief Society Birthday Party.
Here are some of the Awesome sisters in our ward that helped with the program.

We all chipped in in helping Garrett remodel his new (old) home.

But the Best thing that has happened lately is......we got our first set of twin baby lambs yesterday!!!!
Now I know SPRING is here!!!!
They are so cute, I love to listen to them!!

Well, that is just some of the things I have been up to lately.
Hoping to soon start some of the plans I have for my home. Now that Garrett has bought a home, Dustin and Chase helped him to remodel the basement apartment and they are now living there, renting from Garrett.
Garrett is in the prossess of remodeling the upstairs where he will be living soon.
I always wondered wich one of my older boys would be the first to move out of the house, I never dreamed they would all move out at the same time!
It is a little bitter-sweet; but I am looking at the bright side and I am excited to now have a sewing/craft/office/scrapbooking etc. room!!!!!!!!!!
I will post pictures as soon as I have finished my room.

I love these little Easter cards.
The picture does not do them justice, they are much cuter than they look on here.
They have a vintage look.

Bunnies seem to be showing up everywhere at our little acorn cottage.

This bunny in a basket was made for me last year for Easter by two amazing friends that live in my neighborhood.

~ Maverik ~

Such a sad week for us here at Our Little Acorn Cottage.
Our little Maverik passed away.
For those of you who don't know, Maverik was our bunny.
I'm pretty sure he died from old age. He was old when we rescued him.
Someone took Maverik to the Animal Sanctuary and told them to feed him to their eagle.
I'm so glad that our friends thought to call us to see if we wanted him.
Maverik is NOT eagle food.
I love this picture of Maverik and Annie.
Annie is Kent's dog and she is so sweet and gentle she knew Maverik was part of our family and she would never hurt him.
He didn't like living in his cage, (can't say that I blame him) so one day we turned him loose hoping he would stay and he did!
He loved hopping around our yard and would go next door to Grandma Bliss' house but he never went any farther than that.
Such a sweet little guy. We will miss him.

Blue Monday

For ~ Blue Monday ~ I thought I would show you all some quilt blocks that I made.
This was a, Quilt Block Of The Month Class that I took and as you can see, it only lasted 5 months. For some reason after 5 months the class ended. I had really good intentions of doing 7 more blocks on my own but life is busy and I have been puting it off. Now I am getting excited to get back to sewing the rest of the blocks.
This is going on my....(Projects to Finish) list.

Hopefully one day I will post a picture of the finished quilt with all 12 blocks!

This is a doll I made at a doll class several years ago.
She is called, "Dimples" My mother made her dress.

For "Blue Monday" I thought I would post a picture of one of my bathroom shower curtain's.
I LOVE Toile.
This bathroom is decorated in blue & brown. This is the bathroom that Branson and Bridger claim so that is why I added in the brown to make it a little more "boyish"

It seems like this time of year, bunnies keep poppin up all over my house.

My Mother, (aka Grandma Bliss,) got this flower for Christmas. Well actually it was the bulb with about 1 or 2" of a green stem. It came with the pot and a small bag of dirt. She planted the bulb on January 9th.
It now has 4 big blooms!
It is Beautiful!

First I would like to say "THANK YOU" Your advise on what to do with my cabinet was so important to me and I have now decided I am going to paint it!! (I was secretly hoping that is what you would say, hehehe) It is going to be a BIG project for me though so, I will be painting an old buffet first. (My practice project.) And then I will paint the cabinet. Just waiting for warmer wheather before I get started since I will be painting them in the garage. Wish me luck and Thanks again!
This is a picture I found at an estate sale. When I saw it ,I had to have it. I think I only paid $2 or $3 for it. It is pretty banged up and has a lot of imperfections but I love it!

To Paint or Not To Paint..............

OK, When I bought this cabinet, my intentions were to paint it white!
After it sat in our garage for a couple of months my sweet husband convinced me to bring it in and try it in our home for a while in it's original color....brown.
My husband is one of those guys that thinks it is very wrong to paint wood. But I love white and love painted furniture.
So, I'm am asking for your advise,.......Do I Paint or Do I stay with the Brown???

Christmas morning at Grandma Bliss' house!
Grandma Bliss made all of the boy's quilt's for Christmas this year. A homemade quilt is the best gift ever in my opinion and my boy's feel the same way. Garrett and Grandma snuggled up under his quilt!

Christmas Gift

Christmas was amazing this year! All 5 of our boys were home and we all had such a wonderful time together! We all got spoiled, "as usual" but I recieved a special gift from my sister Cindy that I wanted to share with you.
Our Dad passed away on December 27th 1995. We all miss him. Growing up, Cindy and I always called my Dad, "Daddy" To the brother's he was "Dad" but to us girls he was always-Daddy. I love this pillow that Cindy made me. It made me cry when I opened such a special gift and I will treasure it forever.
Every year on Christmas Eve, we go to the cemetery and light candles on Daddy's grave. It is so peaceful and pretty.
This quilt is a beautiful wallhanging that I WON!
Two years ago, we went to a quilt guild and I bought a raffle ticket for $1.00. And this is what I won! It is hanging in our family room in our basement right now. I love it! I felt kind of bad when the ladies from the quilt guild delivered it to me because one of the ladies said she had bought 40 tickets because she wanted to win so bad. I can appreciate all of the time and work that went into making this quilt and I feel very fortunate to have won!

Isn't this beautiful!?!
You all know by now how much I like Halloween......hahaha.
Thursday I did put a small Halloween post on so I decided that now it would be ok to post my favorite.....CHRISTMAS!
Today we went to a Fabulous Christmas Open House!
My favorite tree was the one decorated in Gold & White!

There was so many different trees, there really was something for everone.

The Nativities were also beautiful!

I know for some of you, this is way too early to start thinking about Christmas, but I have always loved Christmas---before---Christmas!
All of the sparkle, the lights, the holiday smell's, the parties, the shopping, the music and the anticipation. Most of all the spirit that is felt during this time of year!
So enjoy your Halloween and get excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas!! I look forward to seeing pictures of your beauiful decorations. You always inspire me.

I have to admit, I am not a big fan of Halloween. A few years ago I decided to try to get into the spirit of the holiday by making a couple of crafts.
These are the two witches I made.
Not very scary at all I know but they were fun to make.
This is the first year that they have been brought out for their holiday in quite a long time.
I thought you might enjoy seeing them and I really should post something for Halloween before I start on CHRISTMAS!

LITTLE GIRLS AND THEIR DOLLS

I have such a sweet sister.
The other day, my sister Cindy stopped by and brought me a gift!
It is the cutest book I have ever seen.

Little Girls And Their Dolls

I love the illustrations

I have always loved dolls. And this book brings back so many memories for me.
As a little girl I played with dolls constantly.
When I became an adult I started making porcelain dolls.
I have made several and most of them are stored away in boxes for now.
Living in a house full of boys, I have often heard the statement...,"Mom, those dolls are freaking me out."
That is why they are in boxes.
I recently recieved another Very Special Gift. This one was given to me by my Mother.
Her Mary Poppins Doll!!!
I couldn't believe she gave her to me!! There is a good reason why I would be the one to get this treasure...you see, when I was very young, at Christmas time, every time someone would ask me what Santa Clause was going to bring me, I would simply say...,"I don't know, but, my Mom is going to get a Mary Poppins Doll!"
I have NO idea what I got that year but my Mom got a Mary Poppins Doll! I knew she would...Santa always comes through!

I remember her having a bag and an umberella and a hat. I'm sure I am probably the one that lost those items when I was young.

Mary Poppins now has a home in my cabinet and so far she hasn't freaked any of the boys out! LOL I think they all understand what a Fabulous Treasure she is in my heart.

So to the best Mom and Sister, THANK YOU!! I love and treasure my gifts.
And no matter what our age's are, we are all still little girls inside that love our dolls.

"BAXTER" The newest addition to our family!

This is Baxter.
He is the newest member of our family.

At 6 weeks old Baxter weighed less than one pound.

Baxter is a mixed breed. His mom is a mix and his dad is a Brussles Griffon.

He will be a small, scruffy little guy.

So cute and tiny sitting on the lady bug quilt.

Max and Misty seemed small until Baxter became part of the family.
"Who let those furry babies on the bed?!?" lol

Bridger's Dog Collection

My youngest son, (Bridger) has taken after me in a small way, he loves dog's.
Not just real, living dog's but also dog figurines.
He has been collecting them and wanted me to put them on here for you all to see.
So the other day, after we had taken them down from his shelf to wash them we took a few pictures to show you.
This first picture is a close up of his antique dog's.

This is another picture of Bridger's old dog's.
Some of these his Grandmother gave him from her collection from years ago.
Some he bought from antique sales, andyard sales.

This is Bridger's collection.
Some are old, some are new.
He loves them and isn't that what we should collect,...the things we love?
I'm sure one day Bridger will decide the time has come to box them up and store them in the basement next to Dustin's horse collection,and Branson's horse collection, (wich just went to the basement for storage this year...how sad) Chase's GI Joe and army fgurine collection and Garrett's baseball card collection.
But for now, I am very happy to enjoy Bridger's dog collection!
I hope we get to for a long, long time!
I had to put a picture of my daisy on here for you to see.
It is so pretty but I know it wont last long.

Princess Academy

I was invited to help prepare and serve food for an event that happened some time ago. It was a Princess Academy hosted by our very own Miss Payson, Chelsie Cooper.
This was a fun day for girls of all ages to be princesses. There were many activities. I wanted to show a little of the Princess Academy to you. Chelsie Cooper, (our wonderful Queen, Miss Payson,) crowned every girl a princess. Chelsie is in the beautiful pink dress.
The girl in the black was the photographer/and also Chelsie's sister.
This is a picture of the petite princess food that we served to the girls.
My favorite part was when our queen, Miss Payson sang a beautiful song written by Liz Laney entitled; Every Girl A Princess.
Fairy Godmother was there granting every girls wish.
Every princess was able to have her picture taken with the Queen.
Every princess was treated to a carriage ride.
What a Fabulous day it was for these girls.
I'm sure they all went home knowing that they are all pricesses.

Since this event, Chelsie Cooper has gone on to win, Miss Congeniality at the Miss Utah Pagent.

This morning we attended a 7:oo a.m. flag raising ceremony at Steve and Liz Laneys home.

The program, the singing, the scout's raising the flag, it all set a perfect tone for the day and helped to remind us of what a great country we live in.
It was an awesome program and after we were served a wonderful continental breakfast.
Then the children were treated to a canoe ride in the Laney's pond.
A great way to start this

QUILT SHOW

Today I went to the quilt show at the Petetneet.
This is a picture of me and Grandma Bliss standing in front of the wall-hanging's we made this year. They were so much fun to make and it was neat to see how different they looked when they were done.
I made mine out of cotton fabric and Grandma Bliss' is out of flannel.
This is a picture of our winter wall hanging's.
Mine is on the left and has a dark blue boarder around it, Grandma Bliss' is on the right and the boarder is red.
Cindy also made one with the same pattern but she didn't enter hers in the show. (Party Pooper)

Soup Tureens and Gravy Boats

I LOVE soup tureens and gravy boats. I don't have a lot of them but I love them.
So I was thinking about that the other day, wondering what it is about these two things that make me happy. This is what I came up with..... homemade soup is my favorite food ever! It is comfort food to me. That explains the soup tureens.
When me and my husband got married I had to learn how to make gravy because he loves gravy and grew up wth a mom that made alot of gravy,..."his comfort food."
So that is how I explain why I love soup tureens and gravy boats. To us they say "Comfort."

After doing the baseball thing all week with the boys, It was fun to go with the girls today.
We had such a fun girly day.
We all got Glitter Toes!
There were six of us but two had to leave early so here is a picture showing four of us after getting all glittery.
Bet you can guess wich toes are mine.
There were so many pretty colors to choose from but I stuck to my favorite PINK!

Happy Memorial Day Everyone!
I love all of the beautiful flowers you see on Memorial Day!

Every year I tend to go with a new color of flower.
Last year was all about red and yellow.
This year I am going with pink and purple for the cemetery.
In the yard it's mostly purple, white, and some pink.

Yummy and Easy

I just wanted to share this yummy recipe with all of you.
It is so easy.

This is the finished product.... it is so yummy looking.

I love to cook but don't always have the time that some recipe's take so I love it when I find an easy, what I like to call a "throw together recipe."
This is a recipe I got watching Paula Dean. I don't even know what it's called but my family sure liked it.
Hope you enjoy it.
13x9 pan
Make a grahm cracker crust by crushing up grahm crackers and adding 1 cub of
melted butter.
Then put 1 Cup of butterscotch chips on the crust.
Next 2 Cups semi sweet chocolate chips. (We don't always put this much because
it is really chocolatey.)
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
Cover with 1 can sweetened condensed milk.
Bake at 350 for 30 min.

These are my two babies, Oklahoma Maxamillion and Misty Jett Butterfy Kisses or, "Max and Misty."

They are Papillons.

For any of you who my not know about this breed, papillon is a French word that means "butterfly"

These little dogs are known for their big ears that resemble big butterfly wings.

Max and misty had their bath's today and looked so sweet all clean and fluffy I just had to put their pictures on for you to see.
